East Coast Superkart Series

The link posted below is what I have proposed for awards for the series.  Hoosier has been very generous in offering 2 tires to the winner, if the numbers are there, I'll add the other 2 tires to make a set for the winners.  This is our first season out, hopefully we can build on this...

Series Awards

 Preregistration is now closed for the ESK Kershaw event.  There will registration at the track, unfortunately the cost will be increase to $385 for the weekend, plus the ESK membership which will be the same $75.

 You will need to be a WKA member as well for liability reasons, so make sure you have as well.  You can get a WKA weekend pass, or sign up for a year at the track also.

Hoosier tires has signed on for their “HOOSIER REWARDS” CONTINGENCY PROGRAM.

“HOOSIER REWARDS” CONTINGENCY PROGRAM - 2013 East Coast Super Kart Series

The “Hoosier Rewards” contingency program has been established to reward drivers competing at an East

Coast Super Kart Series race in 2013. The FE and ICE Super Kart classes will be eligible for this contingency,

and it will be offered on the following race dates.

April 5-7, 2013 – Carolina Motorsports Park

June 7-9, 2013 – Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course

July 26-28, 2013 – VIRgina International Raceway

September 6-8, 2013 – Summit Point Raceway

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Driver must utilize Hoosier kart tires on all four wheel positions.

2. Driver must visibly display an 11”x3” Hoosier decal on their kart. Decals will be supplied by the series

organizer.

3. The series organizer must sign this form verifying requirements #1 and #2 have been met. Claimants

must meet these program requirements in order to redeem contingency awards.

PROGRAM PAYOUT:

1. Two kart tires will be awarded to 1st place if there is a minimum of 5 karts that start your class final.

2. Two kart tires will be awarded to 1st place and one kart tire will be awarded to 2nd place if there is a

minimum of 10 karts that start your class final.

Updates on rules, a some misspelling fixed, also I missed the overall length, it should read 86" overall maximum.

I also fixed an issue with the document files.

Gave the home page a face lift and made the web store opertaional.  Sign up is now open for Carolina Motorsports Park.  Memership is also open.

Updated rules, changed 450cc max 4 stroke to 500cc.  Added axle material steel, no differencials.

ESK 2013 Rules now posted

2013 Rules

Welcome to the ESK series.  It has been announced that a 4 race Superkart series has been established that will run in conjunction with the WKA Road Race Series.  Each event will consist of Friday practice, Saturday Pre-Final, and Sunday Final.  A time practice session on Friday will set the grid for the Pre-Final, and the results of that will set the grid for the Final.  Points will be awarded for Pre-Final and Final and count toward the event awards as well as overall championship awards.

The events will include:

April 5-7th Carolina Motorsports Park

June 7-9th Mid Ohio Sports Car  Course

July 26-28th Virginia International Raceway (Full Course)

September 6-8th Summit Point Motorsports Park
